Mountain Ridge Wines
Mountain Ridge Wines is located 8km east of historical Berry perched up on a ridge of Coolangatta Mountain, with 360° majestic views to Berry, Saddleback and Cambewarra Mountains, and east to the Shoalhaven River and ocean. Mountain Ridge Wines is set on a 75 acre working farm which produces beef, macadamia nuts, limes and free range eggs.
The vineyard was planted in 2007 by Barry and Monique Starkey and their five sons. Grapes are handpicked, produced and bottled on the property by the family with traditional winemaking practices.
Working towards sustainability Mountain Ridge Wines generates a large amount of their energy needs on solar panels. The winery employs traditional winemaking practices and all the wines are processed on the property.
Mountain Ridge winery is a family friendly venue for all types of events. From the beginning, the aim has been to make the winery as much of an experience as possible, cater for children and focus on the family. Not just a winery, an experience!
